Torus Ring

This month's featured stone is the new designer addition
to our gemstone line, which is mined and fashioned right here in the USA. The
TorusRing Gemstone is a patented cut by Glenn Lehrer Designs; a faceted gemstone
with a hole in its center in which a second gemstone (set in a bezel) can be
attached. The stones are calibrated and can be produced in quantity.
TorusRing Gemstones allow jewelers and manufacturers the ability to create fresh
looks with designer appeal.
Glenn Lehrer, G.G., the inventor of the TorusRing
Gemstone, is a worldrenowned California-based jewelry designer. His
award-winning gemstones and jewelry have appeared on the covers of eleven major
jewelry publications. Lehrer's innovative designs in gemstones, large
sculptures, art objects, and jewelry have made him one of today's leading
gemstone designers. He has won awards for gemstone carving from the American Gem
Trade Association in 19989, 1996, 1995, and 1991, as well as from the
prestigious Idar-Oberstein Carvers and Engravers Association.
Mr. Lehrer began cutting gemstones in 1975 and received
his Graduate Gemology degree from G.I.A. in residence in 1978. This studio of
Lehrer Designs was founded in 1981 and offers a wide range of lapidary services
to meet the needs of jewelers and manufacturers. In addition to being a master
carver, Lehrer is a well-known lecturer in the gem and jewelry industry, and
teaches lapidary carving.
