This gorgeous hand engraved setting holds one 6 millimeter Charles & Colvard moissanite jewel. This center jewel is surrounded by two 5 millimeter Charles & Colvard moissanite gemstones. The center moissanite jewel is approximately 1 carat total weight (diamond equivalent weight) and the side moissanite jewels are each 3/4 carat (diamond equivalent weight). This setting also holds three smaller moissanite jewels set into the gold setting.

Charles & Colvard created moissanite is an uncommon combination of science and art. It is a laboratory replication of a rare mineral originally found in an ancient meteorite that crashed into earth thousands of years ago. In 1995, a master diamond cutter observed samples of silicon carbide crystals and suggested to the founders of Charles & Colvard that moissanite could make a beautiful jewel.
